What if furniture didn’t have to travel around the world — but the digital file did?
This idea has been central to Reform Design Lab from the beginning.
Today, we have built a growing network of large-scale 3D-printing partners in the Netherlands, Italy, Poland and the United States.
This allows us to produce furniture closer to where it is actually needed.
Instead of manufacturing everything in one factory and shipping products across continents, our designs can travel digitally.
A product for a customer in the United States can be printed in the United States.
A product for a customer in Europe can be produced by one of our European manufacturing partners.
The customer determines where and when the product is needed.
Production follows demand — not the other way around.
Traditional furniture production often requires large production runs, storage and warehouses full of products waiting to be sold.
With large-scale additive manufacturing, we can produce on demand.
This means:
We produce what is needed, when it is needed, where it is needed.
Our furniture is created digitally and produced using large-scale robotic 3D printing and wood-based composite materials.
The digital design can be sent to a production partner close to the customer and manufactured locally.
There is no need for conventional tooling or for every product to come from the same factory.
This creates a fundamentally different way of thinking about manufacturing and distribution.
The product doesn't have to travel around the world.
The digital file does.
Our current network connects manufacturing partners in the Netherlands, Italy, Poland and the United States, and we continue to expand it.
The goal is simple:
Print where it's needed.
Print when it's needed.
Produce only what's needed.
Designed in Sweden.
Produced locally through a global network.
